Action painting
Inner nature
The human attraction goes to the natural. If one creates something by thinking about it, the inner nature will be deformed. If one creates something focussing on the acting itself, the nature will already be in the work. If I don't think over the impulses I have while painting, but use these impulses and act at once, I will create nature. The creation of nature will lead to deeper satisfaction and deeper insights.
Method of painting
My paintings can cause a confrontation to the observer with him- or herself. For instance, it can make people realise things or give insight. My personal goal in painting is to grow more and more free in my ways of expression. Particularly with action painting the freedom in painting plays an important role, because with this intense mothod, I transform many influences to the canvas, in relative short time. Action painting is my favorite way of paintining.
Evolution
I have always felt the need for excessive expression. Expressing the sensivity and emotion that is present in 'the moment'. It was a long way to finally find my constant form of expression. Painting, expression in emotion, speed, rythm, colour and composition, satisfies this need. I am convinced that the better one can express oneself, the more one will discover from oneself. This way you don not only develop yourself, but also there comes evolution in painting. So this means: evolution in art = evolution in oneself.
Solving restrictions
Every individual has it's own favorite personal way of expressing. What's important is that one dóes express himself. Preferably in more than one way. So not only verbal (e.g. coming up for oneself) or physically (e.g. practicing sports), but also in a creative way. In expressing it's important that one experiences as less restrictions as possible. Money, time and space can restrict. Maybe it's necessary to first create means in a certain amount before being able to let go depending on them, to finally focus on the actual acting. If one is free of restrictions, it's a lot easier to focus on the act (like painting) itself. Striving for a certain result can also become a restriction to create. Striving for something beautiful, or maybe even striving for perfection. Focussing on the act itself (painting because of the act of painting), can cause the striving to be less present. Sometimes it totally disapprears. That's when the space comes to emerges creations, to emerge nature.
